Set within Buckinghamshire, close to the Chiltern Hills, this private kitchen project brings a refined country-house character into a bright and practical family home. The design is classic in its proportions, but softened with curved detailing, warm timber accents and a calm neutral palette.
The kitchen is centred around an in-frame shaker style, finished in spray-painted MDF, giving the cabinetry a timeless and carefully tailored appearance. Curved base units and shaped worktop details add softness to the layout, while warm timber interiors, glazed wall cabinets and open display sections bring depth and character to the space. The overall feeling is elegant, homely and quietly luxurious , traditional in spirit, but highly considered in execution.
Atelier Vero delivered the full bespoke kitchen package, including design development, manufacture, worktop coordination, appliance integration and installation.
The cabinetry was produced in an in-frame shaker style, with spray-painted MDF doors and bespoke curved elements carefully manufactured to suit the room. A key part of the design was the soft shaping of the cabinetry and worktops, including curved end sections and rounded stone detailing, creating a more fluid and graceful kitchen layout.
The worktops and splashback were specified in Dekton Taga, a striking surface with warm, natural movement, chosen as a practical alternative to Taj Mahal quartzite while still giving the kitchen a rich, elegant stone effect. The scope also included integrated appliances, glazed display cabinetry, warm timber open shelving, LED lighting and full installation.
The result is a beautifully detailed bespoke kitchen that combines traditional in-frame cabinetry with softer architectural curves and a distinctive stone palette, creating a calm, refined and highly personal space for a private home.
