Project overview
Set within the leafy village of Oxshott, one of Surrey’s most desirable residential addresses, this private kitchen project brings together the warmth of a country home with the precision and refinement of bespoke British craftsmanship.
The design has a relaxed, traditional character, softened by natural oak detailing and a bright, open layout. Painted shaker-style cabinetry is paired with warm oak wall units, glass-fronted details and a striking fluted oak island, creating a kitchen that feels elegant, welcoming and highly personal. The combination of classic proportions, natural timber and light Carrara-style quartz surfaces gives the space a timeless quality, suited to both everyday family living and relaxed entertaining.
Scope of works
Atelier Vero delivered the full bespoke kitchen package, including design development, manufacture, stone coordination, appliance integration and installation.
The cabinetry combines painted MDF shaker-style doors with natural oak feature elements, creating a layered material palette with depth and warmth. A key feature of the kitchen is the fluted oak detailing, used across the island and selected drawer and side-panel areas, adding texture, craftsmanship and a distinctive handmade character to the space.
The scope also includes Carrara-style quartz worktops, a large central island, integrated storage, glass-fronted oak display cabinetry, a traditional Belfast-style sink and coordination around the Rangemaster cooker and other appliances. Every element is made to suit the architecture of the home, resulting in a kitchen that feels carefully composed, beautifully detailed and naturally connected to its countryside setting.
